After the Mass, we celebrated the day at a restaurant in
Annapolis,
Md. There were over 70 guests present,
including our families and friends from out of town.
The cake was made by Mrs.
Carol Scanlan,
Stephanie's Bible Class teacher. She makes cakes for weddings and other
special events. That day, she
worked on 35 other cakes(!), but was still able to attend our reception
with her husband and three boys. As you can see, it was a
beautiful
creation.
Cutting and serving the cake. The main layer was a delicious
chocolate cake, and the top layer was almond.
The reception was at Paul's
on the South River, a beautiful restaurant
right on the river in Annapolis. We all had a great time.
We had the whole Cheung family there, and more. Our Moms came
in from Aruba. Pete, Robin, Lydia
and kids Nicole and Ryan from Boston. We also had friends
from
out of town.
Stephanie enjoyed being the center of attention for the day.
Proud dad with his daughter.
