Subject: BFT - libra gate - Hello!
First of all I would like to congratulate
you on your site and the
information about the BFT Libra.
It's very interesting and useful.
I studied electronic in my high school and
college, but in my job
i don't work with it unfortunately. So electronic is my
hobby and i practise
when something is broken.
Your work on Libra is very very good and I
happy you have pubblic
it. Congratulation again.
We use 2 Bft Libra in our gates. In 2021 in
one and a month ago in
the other the remote receiver was broken and I replace
it.
I removed the receiver, inserted e SIP
socket, bought e
superetherodina receiver

and with an inverted npn adjust the out to the right
phase.
I attach some materials (pictures,
schematics and link) so if you
want update and upgrade your site, feel you free to use
it as you think.
Your assumptions about the circuit of
limitwitch are right. See
attached limitswitch circuit, 2 diodes and 1k resistor.
Now I'm going to prototype a circuit to
replace the “motherboard”
using an Arduino shield... we'll see if it works.
Best regards
Matteo
